Our customer, the Hotel and Restaurant Posthorn in Ühlingen – Black Forest, has a Terrabox and a Terrafarm shelf. Chef D.Frech uses Terrafarm mainly for spices and salads. Freshness, taste, in-house production and cost savings were the main reasons for purchasing our Terrabox with shelf. In the event of overproduction, he also sells the goods to his customers. Refinancing is possible within 2 to 3 years.

Garage 50 sqm with online and direct sales

Mr. Peter Forrest, City of London, has built a small microgreen production with Terrafarm with an investment of € 35,000. Solarenergy

Low costs through solar energy. You can run a Terrafarm completely with renewable energies. You produce your own electricity and electricity that is not used can be fed into the grid. Example: A hall with 50 x 100m = 5000sqm Energy with 5000qm solar panels, with battery storage, produces 500,000 kWh per year. The Terrafarm system requires approx. 50% of the energy. That means you can feed in 250,000 kWh per year. In Germany and at € 0.09, the energy fed in would bring you € 22,500 per year.

Water

Water savings of over 90% in some cases. You can also collect rainwater in cisterns in a hall and use this water for irrigation, so you can reduce the water costs to a minimum.

With our Terrafarm system, we produce a water cycle so that we achieve water consumption up to 90% lower compared to conventional cultivation. Our mounting systems are made of aluminum or stainless steel, we do not use NFT technology. Extreme weather events and drought cannot harm a vertical farm.

TERRAFARM is efficiency, 365 days a year you can harves-ting your plants. On an area of 200sqm we can set up more than 1400sqm of crop area. On 200sqm we can make a turn- over of up to £ 250,000.00 per annum.

LED Light

With our LED light technology you can grow and harvest 365 days a year. We produce our plant lights in-house. We can therefore plan and develop precisely according to the requirements. The lighting can be regulated via a dimmer and our software, so we control photosynthesis, vitamin content and harvest time.

Ventilation

A controlled air circulation ensures the perfect growth of the plants. The plants need a regular exchange of air. The Terrabox has a permanently integrated ventilation system, with our Terrafarm shelves the air exchange is calculated and built in individually, and ventilation systems are already in place in some cases.

A-cycle

With a vertical farm from Terrafarm you can easily grow and harvest A-cyclic plants. What does that mean? You can e.g. Grow strawberries and blueberries from November to spring in London, Berlin, Paris or New York.
